Treehouse Bar and Kitchen, Otley

Date of visit:  Regular visitor since 2024

NUMBER OF PAW POINTS: 10 out of 10 for the decor, that feeling of being outside-in, quality of food and service. Dog and family friendly.

This is a pawsome place for dogs, families and everyone in between.

Situated on Bondgate in the historic market town of Otley, this bar and kitchen is modern and super cool. It’s super spacious and I’m a bit of a regular there now.

Everyone receives a warm welcome and dogs are offered a bowl of water or the lovely staff will get one for you if you ask.

As you walk in there is a cosy family area on the left – although children are welcome anywhere in the bar, they’re not just confined to here. It is a cosy area where children settle down to do some colouring with the provisions provided.

The main part of the bar is centred around two huge trees. Now we never sit too close to the trees just in case I get caught short! 😀

They give a fantastic “outside in” feel. It’s spacious and light.

The atmosphere is warm and inviting. Sometimes they have a talented singer/pianist to provide some musical entertainment while you eat and drink and there are big screens showing sport if that’s more your thing. However, the musical accompaniment and screens don’t dominate. They’re not booming out and these sounds blend nicely into the experience without drowning out the conversation of whoever you’re with.

There’s also a lovely courtyard outdoor area and The Nest which is an area for private dining.

The humans say the food is spot on and mum highly recommends the Yorkshire Burrito – tender beef that just falls apart wrapped in a Yorkshire pudding with gravy.  And the pizzas are gorgeous too!

Give it a go!
